The extremely low thermal conductivity of the material enables radically thinner insulation thickness to be used as compared to traditional materials.
Nano-silica insulation is very hydrophobic material that does not allow water to be absorbed into its structure.
The material structure allows moisture to escape as vapor/steam, from evaporation. This is a feature that will allow drying of wet insulation on hot process pipes, and removing moisture trapped on the metal surface of pipes and equipment.
Durkgel Aerogel is highly regarded for its ability to save space and to insulate lines in extremely tight space, where traditional materials cannot be utilized.
Fabrication and installation of Durkgel Aerogel is simple and fast. Basic tools are only required to complete the fabrication and installation.
